【按章翻译《道德经》第44章】名与身孰亲？身与货孰多？得与亡孰病？是故，甚爱必大费，多藏必厚亡，知足不辱，知止不殆，可以长久。
名誉和身體，哪一個更可愛？身體和財物，哪一個價值更加多？得到和失去，哪一個更痛苦？所以爱的深沉必然耗费很多，多多的储藏，必會有重大損失。知道满足就不會感到屈辱，知道停止就不会灭亡，就能夠長久。
Which of the Reputation or body is more dear?, which of body or property is more valuable? which of gain or loss, which one is more painful? Therefore, the deep love will inevitably cost a lot, and a lot of collections will inevitably have major losses. If you understand the satisfaction, you will not feel humiliated. If you know to stop, you will not die, and will be able to live for a long time.
