Recently, I bought an EPSON 1390 printer. I wanted to do some maintenance work such as cleaning the printer head and nozzle. So, I download the “EPSON 1390 Reset Utility” from the Epson website. After I installed the software and chose Epson 1390 printer, it pops up an error message “Used 700”.
I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it but the same error message appeared again. I was confused and not sure what I should do next.
After I googled the errors, I found out the reason and solutions. There were some forums and threads discussing about this issue and how to fix it. According to some advice, the “Used 700” error message is related to the printer’s internal hardware settings, which has been changed or set wrongly and usually happens when people try to reset the ink cartridges.
The solutions that I found was to reset the hardware settings. To do this, I had to enter into “Service Mode” by pressing a combination of keys on the printer control panel. After entering into service mode, I changed some parameters according to the instruction I found on the internet. After I finished the settings, I restarted the printer and the “Used 700” error message disappeared and the reset utility was working properly now.
【爱普生1390清零软件报错used】Therefore, it was important to do some research before doing any maintenance work. In this case, I should have searched online first to find out the solutions instead of testing different possibilities. I think it’s important for people to get familiar with the software and hardware before attempting to do any reset or maintenance work.
