Step 1: Download Canon236 Reset software
1. On your web browser, navigate to the Canon236 Reset software download page on this website.
2. Click on the button labeled “Download”.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software on your computer.
Step 2: Connect the printer to the computer
1. Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Power on the printer if it is not already on.
Step 3: Access the printer settings
1. Access the printer settings by pressing and holding the Power button for a few seconds until the LED lights up.
2. Press the Menu button and use the arrow buttons to navigate to the printer’s main settings menu.
Step 4: Run the reset software
1. Open the Canon236 Reset software on your computer.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the printer to its factory settings.
3. Click the “Reset” button to start the reset process.
Step 5: Power cycle the printer
1. Turn off the printer by pressing and holding the Power button for a few seconds.
2. Disconnect the USB cable and then power on the printer.
