Canon BJC-55 Waste Ink Reset Instructions
1. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.

3. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds.
4. Release the reset button and then press and hold the resume button while pushing the reset button.
5. Release the resume button and then press and hold the power button while pressing the resume button.
6. Release the power button and then press and hold the resume button until the LED flashes green.
7. Release the resume button and then press the power button.
8. The printer will enter the diagnostic mode and you will see the LED flash green, orange and then red.
9. When the LED flashes red, press and hold the power button and the resume button simultaneously for about 10 seconds.
10. Release the power button and resume button and then press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
11. Release the power button and then press and hold the resume button until the LED flashes green.
12. Release the resume button, the printer will now reset the waste ink counter and it will go back to normal operation.
13. Connect the power cord back to the printer and turn it on.
14. Perform the necessary print test to verify that the printer is functioning properly.
