Canon Pixma 236 Printer error code 5b00 is an error which indicates that the Waste Ink Counter of your printer is full. This error code can occur when the Waste Ink Pad is either fully replaced or has reached its maximum capacity in soaking up the accumulated ink from your printer. The Waste Ink Pad needs to be monitored and replaced periodically in order to maintain proper functioning of your printer.
This error code 5b00 will basically prevent you from using your printer and it can be extremely frustrating and time consuming to try and solve it.
