RC|RC circuit time constant
When charging or discharging a capacitor, the time required to reach 63.2% of the difference between the old and new values after applying a pulse that causes a change is the time constant. The time constant is a measured value.
【RC|RC circuit time constant】When the capacitor voltage is known, the energy (E) and time constant (RC) can be calculated. You can use this calculator to determine two different values. The time constant (T) can be determined by the values of capacitor (C) and load resistor (R). The energy (E) stored in the capacitor (E) can be determined when the voltage (V), capacitance (C), and load resistance values are known.
