Epson L1300 Printer Factory Reset Procedure
1. Unplug the power cord from the Epson L1300 printer.
2. Press the “reset” button for five seconds and then release it.
3. Turn the printer off.
4. Plug the power cord back into the Epson L1300 printer.

6. If the “power” light is now red, the factory reset has been successful.
7. The Epson L1300 printer is now reset to the factory default settings.
Sometimes, during a factory reset, the printer will not start. If this happens, then the following steps should be taken:
1. Unplug the power cord from the Epson L1300 printer again.
2. Open the printer and locate the small black reset button.
3. Press the reset button firmly and hold it for 10-15 seconds.
4. Plug the power cord back into the Epson L1300 printer.
5. Turn the printer on.
6. Once the “power” light is green, the reset was successful.
7. The Epson L1300 printer is now reset to the factory default settings.
Once the Epson L1300 printer has been reset, the user will have to enter the printer settings again, such as language and network settings. Also, any printer settings which were previously changed may need to be re-entered.
It is important to note that performing a factory reset will erase any saved settings and any data stored in the printer’s memory. It is recommended to back up any important data before performing a factory reset on the Epson L1300 printer.
