Epson R330 Thermal Protection Clear
1. Turn off the power of the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for a few minutes, and then plug the power cord into the power outlet.
2. Press and hold the Stop button on the front panel of the printer while connecting the power cord.
3. Release the Stop button when the Start light flashes.
4. Press the Start button, and then the printer will start to enter the Thermal Protection Clear mode.
5. During the Thermal Protection Clear mode, the printer will generate a grinding sound. The process lasts for about 20 minutes.
6. When the grinding sound stops, the Thermal Protection Clear process is complete.
7. Unplug the power cord and turn off the printer. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
8. Perform a nozzle check. If the print quality is poor or there is no printout, perform a head cleaning.
9. The Thermal Protection Clear mode is now complete.

If the temperature is too high, the thermal protection clear mode cannot be completed.
