If your Canon printer says that the waste ink absorber is full, then you need to perform a cleaning procedure to reset the printer. Here are the steps:
1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Press and hold the “Stop/Reset” button on the printer.
3. Plug the power cord into the outlet and turn on the printer.
4. Release the “Stop/Reset” button when the printer starts.

6. Follow the instructions on the printer’s LCD display to complete the cleaning procedure.
7. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
8. Leave the printer off for at least 10 minutes.
9. Plug the power cord into the outlet and turn on the printer.
10. Check that the waste ink absorber is now empty.
If the waste ink absorber is still full after the cleaning procedure, then you may need to contact a Canon service center for assistance.
