【佳能3800提示5B00】Canon PIXMA MX490 printer error 5B00 is the result of an internal mechanical failure. This error usually indicates a waste ink absorber is full and needs to be replaced. Waste ink absorbers are used to capture any excess ink that is discharged during printing. When the waste ink absorber is full, your printer might stop working and display the error code 5B00.
To fix the Canon Printer Error 5B00, first turn off your printer and disconnect your printer from the power outlet. Then, open the scanner and clean the waste ink pads with warm water, absorbent paper, cloth, or vacuum cleaner. After cleaning the waste ink pads, set them back into place and close the scanner. Finally, plug your printer back into the power outlet and switch it on.
If the waste ink pads are beyond repair, you can find replacement waste ink pads online. Replace the old ones with the new ones and clean the area very well. Then, shut down the printer, install the printer driver on your computer, and follow the instructions to reset the printer.
