《小王子》英语读书报告
I have read some books this term 。The one which impressed me most is。I b*ught this book last term 。The book consists of three versions: French,Chinese and English 。I read Chinese version first,which *de my second read in English much easier 。I’m not going to talk about the fairy tale’s w*ting skills ,  w*ting style and what philosophy it contains 。Instead, I will pick out s*ral sentences which moved me a lot and then show my feeling 。
In part 4,there is “Not *ryone has had a f*end 。” And later,in part 17 ,  there’s “It’s also lonely with people 。” The *o sentences nearly have the same meaning 。A true f*end is of a lifetime 。You *y say that: “I have a lot of f*ends,and we always play together and chat together……” But in fact,f*ends are not those whom you always stay with 。F*ends can be away f*m yo* daily life,can be out of connection for a long time,but they understand what you do and what you say all the time 。You n*r feel embarrassed when you stay with yo* f*ends and *n say no words 。
In part 8,the little p*nce: “He had taken se*ously certain inconsequential re*rks and had g*wn very unhappy 。” It’s the same to us 。We are too concerned about what others say to do what we really want to 。Nowadays,we seems to care * about other people than o*selves 。When you have bought a dress you thought was be*tiful ,  someone says that: “ Oh,it is not suitable for you 。” Guess what,you will not wear the dress any * *n if it is new 。
In part 18, the flower had seen a caravan passing: “The wind blows them away 。They have no *ots ,  which hampers them a good deal 。” The sentence seems *diculous, how*r,*kes me think a lot 。For hu*n being,*ots mean spi*t belief 。There’s someone saying that: “One nation won’t be dest*yed as long as it has belief 。” Here, I want to mention Jewry 。No *tter how much hardship it went th*ugh,it n*r give up its struggling 。I have seen a photo: an old Jewish wo*n holds a book and reads it se*ously *n though she is in the ruin after one battle 。I ad*e this nation, and at the same time,I worry about o* nation 。Maybe it has belief which I don’t notice 。It couldn’t be denied that we are bein*ore and * fickle and *te*alistic 。We are losing o* spi*tual belief gradually 。Read * and search for one spi*tual holy land 。
In part 21,the fox tells the little p*nce : “It’s the time you spent on yo* *se that *kes you *se so important 。” I love this sentence most 。I think of people’s dream 。Perhaps in others’ eyes, o* dreams are insi*ificant 。They always disco*age us 。But what we should know is that only if you devote to yo* dream,yo* dream id unique 。You yo*self is the *ster of yo* dream 。
At last, I want to take the *thor’s word as the ending: All g*wn-ups were children first *But few of them remember it* 。If only we all remember it 。
英语读书报告(二):
In this summer holidays,I read a book called < Great Expectations>,it was w*tten by the Charles *ens ,  one of the most famous English w*ters 。He w*te lots of wonderful novels 。This book is one of his positions 。
People always like to pare with their f*ends 。It is a big foible of all the people 。If other people have a lot of money,we also want to be *ch 。If all the people a*und us are poor  ,  we n*r mind that we are very poor ,  too 。we will not ashamed bec*se of o* folly 。This is a social p*blem 。
If we n*r possess anything,we will not mind we lost some thing 。Since we don’t want to be very *ch ,we will not feel despond bec*se poor 。
The p*tagonist of this novel is Pip *Handel* 。His parents *d when he was a baby 。His sister had b*ught him up ‘by hand’ 。His sister *r*ed to Joe Gargery,the village black*ith 。They didn’t have much money ,  and Pip n*r went to school to study 。But he was often very happy。Bec*se all of his f*ends are like him 。It isn’t very unfortunate to them, this is their lives 。But by a chance, Pip *ed a convict; he gave much food to him 。Then he met Miss Havisham,a very strange old wo*n and she was very *ch 。
Fo* years later, Miss Havisham wants Pip to be removed f*m his home and educated as a gentle*n who expects inhe*t a fortune when he g*w up 。
After hea*ng that。Pip started to despise his poor f*ends 。He *n feel ashamed bec*se he live with the poor *n。Pip’s ‘great expectations’ dest*yed his life 。
This novel told us that we cannot pare with others。Don’t feel envy at the others money 。And if one day you be very *ch,please don’t despise yo* poor f*ends 。
英语读书报告(三):
one of the most interesting questions about gullivers travels is whether the houyhnhnms represent an ideal of rationality or whether on the other hand they are the butt of swift"s satire 。in other words,in book iv, is swift poking fun at the talking horses or does he intend for us to take them se*ously as the p*per way to act? if we look closely at the way that the houyhnhnms act,we can see that in fact swift does not take them se*ously: he uses them to show the dangers of p*de 。
