Canon:
1.First, be sure to shut off the printer before cleaning or replacing the waste ink pad.

3.Gently pull the waste ink pad assembly away from the rear of the printer.
4.If the waste ink pad is excessively full, you may need to replace it.
5.To replace the waste ink pad, carefully remove the old pad and insert the new one.
6.Secure the new waste ink pad in place and replace the cover.
7.Finally, reattach the assembly to the rear of the printer and close the rear door.
Epson:
1.First, shut off the printer and disconnect any cables that are attached.
2.Pull the tab attached to the printer’s rear panel to open the top cover.
3.Locate the waste ink pad assembly inside the printer.
4.Gently pull the waste ink pad assembly away from the rear of the printer.
5.If the waste ink pad is excessively full, you may need to replace it.
6.To replace the waste ink pad, carefully remove the old pad and insert the new one.
7.Secure the new waste ink pad in place and replace the top cover.
8.Finally, reattach the assembly to the rear of the printer and close the rear panel.
