这么微小的斑块体积的变化到底有没有意义呢?一项系统回顾和循证医学证据分析[6]显示:平均PAV每下降1%,MACE(主要心血管不良事件,包括死亡、心肌梗死、不稳定型心绞痛、卒中或短暂性脑缺血发作)的发生几率大约下降20%(未调整模型为22%,完全调整模型为18%) 。该结果为PAV作为MACE的替代标志物的变化提供了强有力的验证,也为在脂质修饰药物开发的早期阶段使用这种方法提供了强有力的理论依据 。
